Barangay 6 (Pob.)

Situated in Carmona, Cavite, Barangay 6 (Pob.) is one of 14 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay 6 (Pob.) had a population of 729. This made it the 10th largest of 14 barangays in Carmona by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay 6 (Pob.) accounted for approximately 0.69% of the total population of Carmona, which stood at 106,256 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 798 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 729 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -8.6%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay 6 (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Carmona is a municipality comprising 14 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay 6 (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
