Barangay Malingin

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Malingin is one of the administrative divisions of City of Bago in Negros Occidental, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Malingin had a population of 7,070. This made it the 14th largest of 24 barangays in City of Bago by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Bago. Barangay Malingin is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Bago is a city comprising 24 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Malingin, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
