Barangay Aduas Sur

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Aduas Sur is one of the administrative divisions of City of Cabanatuan in Nueva Ecija, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Aduas Sur had a population of 7,640. This made it the 9th largest of 89 barangays in City of Cabanatuan by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Aduas Sur accounted for approximately 2.33% of the total population of City of Cabanatuan, which stood at 327,325 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 6,745 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 7,640 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +13.3%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Aduas Sur as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Cabanatuan is a city comprising 89 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Aduas Sur, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
