Barangay San Dionisio

Barangay San Dionisio is a large barangay in the City of Dasmariñas, located in the province of Cavite, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Dionisio had a population of 6,741. This made it the 27th largest of 75 barangays in City of Dasmariñas by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay San Dionisio accounted for approximately 0.96% of the total population of City of Dasmariñas, which stood at 703,141 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 6,980 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 6,741 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -3.4%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay San Dionisio is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Dasmariñas is a city comprising 75 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Dionisio, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
