Barangay Biclatan

Classified as a very large barangay, Barangay Biclatan is one of the administrative divisions of City of General Trias in Cavite, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Biclatan had a population of 23,102. This made it the 6th largest of 33 barangays in City of General Trias by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Biclatan accounted for approximately 5.13% of the total population of City of General Trias, which stood at 450,583 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 14,703 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 23,102 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +57.1%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Biclatan is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of General Trias is a city comprising 33 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Biclatan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Cavite, which contains 829 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Biclatan ranks 28th by 2020 population. Cavite is classified as a 1st by the Bureau of Local Government Finance, a category that reflects the province's annual regular income.

The barangay's legislative and executive affairs are handled by a Punong Barangay and the Sangguniang Barangay, elected nationwide during the Barangay and SK Elections. The next BSKE is scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, following the synchronized election schedule set by COMELEC Resolution No. 11191.
