Barangay Duhatan

Situated in City of Lipa, Batangas, Barangay Duhatan is one of 72 barangays that make up the city within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Duhatan had a population of 2,579. This made it the 51st largest of 72 barangays in City of Lipa by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Duhatan accounted for approximately 0.69% of the total population of City of Lipa, which stood at 372,931 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,406 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,579 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +7.2%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Duhatan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Lipa is a city comprising 72 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Duhatan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
