Situated in City of Lipa, Batangas, Barangay Lodlod is one of 72 barangays that make up the city within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Lodlod had a population of 10,006. This made it the 7th largest of 72 barangays in City of Lipa by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Lodlod accounted for approximately 2.68% of the total population of City of Lipa, which stood at 372,931 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 8,931 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 10,006 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +12.0%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Lodlod is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Lipa is a city comprising 72 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Lodlod, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Batangas, which contains 1,078 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Lodlod ranks 29th by 2020 population.
