Barangay Mabini

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Mabini is one of the administrative divisions of City of Lipa in Batangas, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mabini had a population of 5,766. This made it the 23rd largest of 72 barangays in City of Lipa by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Mabini accounted for approximately 1.55% of the total population of City of Lipa, which stood at 372,931 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 3,964 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 5,766 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +45.5%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Mabini is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Lipa is a city comprising 72 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Mabini, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Batangas, which contains 1,078 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Mabini ranks 89th by 2020 population.
