Barangay San Benito

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay San Benito is one of the administrative divisions of City of Lipa in Batangas, CALABARZON, Philippines.

The barangay recorded 4,013 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 4,507 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +12.3%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay San Benito is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Lipa is a city comprising 72 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Benito, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
