Barangay San Salvador

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay San Salvador is one of the administrative divisions of City of Lipa in Batangas, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Salvador had a population of 4,384. This made it the 34th largest of 72 barangays in City of Lipa by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay San Salvador accounted for approximately 1.18% of the total population of City of Lipa, which stood at 372,931 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,985 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 4,384 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +46.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay San Salvador is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Lipa is a city comprising 72 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Salvador, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
