Barangay Atlag

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Atlag is one of the administrative divisions of City of Malolos in Bulacan, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Atlag had a population of 4,675. This made it the 23rd largest of 51 barangays in City of Malolos by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Atlag accounted for approximately 1.79% of the total population of City of Malolos, which stood at 261,189 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Atlag changed from 5,294 to 4,675, a shift of -11.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in City of Malolos. Barangay Atlag is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Malolos is a city comprising 51 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Atlag, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Bulacan, which contains 569 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Atlag ranks 263rd by 2020 population.
