Barangay Cabungahan

Barangay Cabungahan is a small barangay in the city of City of Naga, located in the province of Cebu, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Cabungahan had a population of 1,562. This made it the 24th largest of 28 barangays in City of Naga by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Cabungahan accounted for approximately 1.17% of the total population of City of Naga, which stood at 133,184 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Cabungahan moving from 1,306 residents to 1,562 residents, an intercensal change of +19.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Cabungahan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
