Barangay Lower Sibatang

Barangay Lower Sibatang is a small barangay in the City of Pagadian, located in the province of Zamboanga Del Sur, in the Zamboanga Peninsula region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Lower Sibatang had a population of 959. This made it the 50th largest of 54 barangays in City of Pagadian by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Lower Sibatang accounted for approximately 0.46% of the total population of City of Pagadian, which stood at 210,452 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,161 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 959 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -17.4%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Lower Sibatang is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
