Barangay Muricay

Barangay Muricay is a mid-sized barangay in the City of Pagadian, located in the province of Zamboanga Del Sur, in the Zamboanga Peninsula region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Muricay had a population of 3,367. This made it the 21st largest of 54 barangays in City of Pagadian by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Muricay accounted for approximately 1.60% of the total population of City of Pagadian, which stood at 210,452 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Muricay moving from 3,172 residents to 3,367 residents, an intercensal change of +6.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
