Barangay Kaypian

Barangay Kaypian is a mega-barangay in the City of San Jose Del Monte, located in the province of Bulacan, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Kaypian had a population of 46,045. This made it the 5th largest of 59 barangays in City of San Jose Del Monte by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Kaypian accounted for approximately 7.06% of the total population of City of San Jose Del Monte, which stood at 651,813 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Kaypian changed from 38,407 to 46,045, a shift of +19.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of San Jose Del Monte. Barangay Kaypian is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of San Jose Del Monte is a city comprising 59 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Kaypian, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
