Barangay Minuyan Proper

Classified as a mega-barangay, Barangay Minuyan Proper is one of the administrative divisions of City of San Jose Del Monte in Bulacan, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Minuyan Proper had a population of 46,171. This made it the 4th largest of 59 barangays in City of San Jose Del Monte by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Minuyan Proper accounted for approximately 7.08% of the total population of City of San Jose Del Monte, which stood at 651,813 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 38,846 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 46,171 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +18.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Minuyan Proper is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of San Jose Del Monte is a city comprising 59 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Minuyan Proper, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
