Barangay San Rafael IV

Barangay San Rafael IV is a large barangay in the city of City of San Jose Del Monte, located in the province of Bulacan, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Rafael IV had a population of 6,447. This made it the 18th largest of 59 barangays in City of San Jose Del Monte by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay San Rafael IV accounted for approximately 0.99% of the total population of City of San Jose Del Monte, which stood at 651,813 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 6,732 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 6,447 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -4.2%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Rafael IV as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of San Jose Del Monte is a city comprising 59 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Rafael IV, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
