Barangay Del Remedio

Barangay Del Remedio is a very large barangay in the City of San Pablo, located in the province of Laguna, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Del Remedio had a population of 17,871. This made it the 1st largest of 80 barangays in City of San Pablo by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Del Remedio accounted for approximately 6.26% of the total population of City of San Pablo, which stood at 285,348 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Del Remedio changed from 15,829 to 17,871, a shift of +12.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of San Pablo. Barangay Del Remedio is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of San Pablo is a city comprising 80 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Del Remedio, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Laguna, which contains 681 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Del Remedio ranks 42nd by 2020 population.
