Barangay San Buenaventura

Barangay San Buenaventura is a mid-sized barangay in the city of City of San Pablo, located in the province of Laguna, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Buenaventura had a population of 4,396. This made it the 23rd largest of 80 barangays in City of San Pablo by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay San Buenaventura accounted for approximately 1.54% of the total population of City of San Pablo, which stood at 285,348 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Buenaventura changed from 3,809 to 4,396, a shift of +15.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of San Pablo. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Buenaventura as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of San Pablo is a city comprising 80 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Buenaventura, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
