Barangay San Gabriel

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay San Gabriel is one of the administrative divisions of City of San Pablo in Laguna, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Gabriel had a population of 8,875. This made it the 5th largest of 80 barangays in City of San Pablo by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay San Gabriel accounted for approximately 3.11% of the total population of City of San Pablo, which stood at 285,348 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 8,929 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 8,875 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -0.6%, consistent with a broadly stable settlement. Barangay San Gabriel is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of San Pablo is a city comprising 80 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Gabriel, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Laguna, which contains 681 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay San Gabriel ranks 92nd by 2020 population.
