Barangay San Ignacio

Barangay San Ignacio is a large barangay in the City of San Pablo, located in the province of Laguna, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Ignacio had a population of 6,025. This made it the 14th largest of 80 barangays in City of San Pablo by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay San Ignacio accounted for approximately 2.11% of the total population of City of San Pablo, which stood at 285,348 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 5,281 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 6,025 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +14.1%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay San Ignacio is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of San Pablo is a city comprising 80 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Ignacio, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
