Barangay Cabid-An

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Cabid-An is one of the administrative divisions of City of Sorsogon in Sorsogon, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Cabid-An had a population of 8,009. This made it the 3rd largest of 64 barangays in City of Sorsogon by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Cabid-An accounted for approximately 4.39% of the total population of City of Sorsogon, which stood at 182,237 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Cabid-An changed from 7,255 to 8,009, a shift of +10.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Sorsogon. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Cabid-An as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
