Barangay Gatbo

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Gatbo is one of the administrative divisions of City of Sorsogon in Sorsogon, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Gatbo had a population of 2,460. This made it the 29th largest of 64 barangays in City of Sorsogon by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Gatbo accounted for approximately 1.35% of the total population of City of Sorsogon, which stood at 182,237 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Gatbo changed from 2,494 to 2,460, a shift of -1.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in City of Sorsogon. Barangay Gatbo is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
