Barangay San Juan

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay San Juan is one of the administrative divisions of City of Sto. Tomas in Batangas, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Juan had a population of 4,178. This made it the 15th largest of 30 barangays in City of Sto. Tomas by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay San Juan accounted for approximately 1.91% of the total population of City of Sto. Tomas, which stood at 218,500 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 3,177 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 4,178 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +31.5%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay San Juan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Sto. Tomas is a city comprising 30 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Juan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
