Barangay Panalsalan

Situated in City of Tangub, Misamis Occidental, Barangay Panalsalan is one of 55 barangays that make up the city within Northern Mindanao.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Panalsalan had a population of 1,222. This made it the 22nd largest of 55 barangays in City of Tangub by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Panalsalan accounted for approximately 1.79% of the total population of City of Tangub, which stood at 68,389 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Panalsalan changed from 1,008 to 1,222, a shift of +21.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Tangub. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Panalsalan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
