Situated in City of Tayabas, Quezon, Barangay Camaysa is one of 66 barangays that make up the city within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Camaysa had a population of 2,438. This made it the 15th largest of 66 barangays in City of Tayabas by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Camaysa accounted for approximately 2.16% of the total population of City of Tayabas, which stood at 112,658 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,234 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,438 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +9.1%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Camaysa as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
