Barangay Lalo

Barangay Lalo is a mid-sized barangay in the City of Tayabas, located in the province of Quezon, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Lalo had a population of 4,647. This made it the 6th largest of 66 barangays in City of Tayabas by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Lalo accounted for approximately 4.12% of the total population of City of Tayabas, which stood at 112,658 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Lalo moving from 4,055 residents to 4,647 residents, an intercensal change of +14.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Lalo is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
