Barangay Banban

Situated in Conner, Apayao, Barangay Banban is one of 21 barangays that make up the municipality within CAR.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Banban had a population of 1,178. This made it the 11th largest of 21 barangays in Conner by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Banban accounted for approximately 4.28% of the total population of Conner, which stood at 27,552 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Banban moving from 1,088 residents to 1,178 residents, an intercensal change of +8.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Banban as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
