Barangay San Isidro

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay San Isidro is one of the administrative divisions of Cuenca in Batangas, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Isidro had a population of 2,565. This made it the 4th largest of 21 barangays in Cuenca by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Isidro accounted for approximately 7.08% of the total population of Cuenca, which stood at 36,235 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,091 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,565 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +22.7%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay San Isidro is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Cuenca is a municipality comprising 21 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Isidro, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
