Situated in Culion, Palawan, Barangay Burabod is one of 14 barangays that make up the municipality within MIMAROPA Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Burabod had a population of 961. This made it the 12th largest of 14 barangays in Culion by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Burabod accounted for approximately 4.14% of the total population of Culion, which stood at 23,213 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 829 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 961 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +15.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Burabod as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
