Barangay Paguludan-Salindeg

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Paguludan-Salindeg is one of the administrative divisions of Currimao in Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Paguludan-Salindeg had a population of 296. This made it the 19th largest of 23 barangays in Currimao by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Paguludan-Salindeg accounted for approximately 2.42% of the total population of Currimao, which stood at 12,215 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 319 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 296 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -7.2%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Paguludan-Salindeg is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Currimao is a municipality comprising 23 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Paguludan-Salindeg, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
