Barangay Calancuasan Norte

Barangay Calancuasan Norte is a small barangay in the municipality of Cuyapo, located in the province of Nueva Ecija, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Calancuasan Norte had a population of 1,084. This made it the 31st largest of 51 barangays in Cuyapo by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Calancuasan Norte accounted for approximately 1.59% of the total population of Cuyapo, which stood at 68,066 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Calancuasan Norte changed from 958 to 1,084, a shift of +13.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Cuyapo. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Calancuasan Norte as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
