Barangay Landig

Barangay Landig forms part of Cuyapo, a municipality in Nueva Ecija, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Landig had a population of 828. This made it the 40th largest of 51 barangays in Cuyapo by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Landig accounted for approximately 1.22% of the total population of Cuyapo, which stood at 68,066 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 824 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 828 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +0.5%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. Barangay Landig is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Cuyapo is a municipality comprising 51 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Landig, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Nueva Ecija, which contains 849 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Landig ranks 763rd by 2020 population.
