Barangay Cabigsing (Pob.)

Barangay Cabigsing (Pob.) is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Cuyo, located in the province of Palawan, in the MIMAROPA Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Cabigsing (Pob.) had a population of 2,062. This made it the 3rd largest of 17 barangays in Cuyo by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cabigsing (Pob.) accounted for approximately 8.78% of the total population of Cuyo, which stood at 23,489 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Cabigsing (Pob.) changed from 2,064 to 2,062, a shift of -0.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in Cuyo. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Cabigsing (Pob.) as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Cuyo is a municipality comprising 17 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Cabigsing (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
