Barangay Sirab

Barangay Sirab is a very small barangay in the municipality of Dagami, located in the province of Leyte, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Sirab had a population of 384. This made it the 47th largest of 65 barangays in Dagami by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sirab accounted for approximately 1.06% of the total population of Dagami, which stood at 36,178 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Sirab moving from 388 residents to 384 residents, an intercensal change of -1.0%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. Barangay Sirab is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
