Barangay Eguia

Situated in Dasol, Pangasinan, Barangay Eguia is one of 18 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Eguia had a population of 3,114. This made it the 2nd largest of 18 barangays in Dasol by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Eguia accounted for approximately 9.93% of the total population of Dasol, which stood at 31,355 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Eguia moving from 3,194 residents to 3,114 residents, an intercensal change of -2.5%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Eguia is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
