Barangay Mariveles

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Mariveles is one of the administrative divisions of Dauis in Bohol, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mariveles had a population of 3,797. This made it the 8th largest of 12 barangays in Dauis by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mariveles accounted for approximately 7.23% of the total population of Dauis, which stood at 52,492 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 3,664 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 3,797 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +3.6%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Mariveles is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Dauis is a municipality comprising 12 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Mariveles, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
