Barangay Bagong Silang

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Bagong Silang is one of the administrative divisions of Del Gallego in Camarines Sur, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bagong Silang had a population of 1,165. This made it the 7th largest of 32 barangays in Del Gallego by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bagong Silang accounted for approximately 4.41% of the total population of Del Gallego, which stood at 26,403 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,027 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,165 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +13.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Bagong Silang is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
