Barangay Visitacion

Barangay Visitacion is a small barangay in the municipality of Delfin Albano, located in the province of Isabela, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Visitacion had a population of 516. This made it the 25th largest of 29 barangays in Delfin Albano by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Visitacion accounted for approximately 1.72% of the total population of Delfin Albano, which stood at 29,928 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Visitacion changed from 478 to 516, a shift of +7.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Delfin Albano. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Visitacion as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Delfin Albano is a municipality comprising 29 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Visitacion, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
