Barangay Paltic

Situated in Dingalan, Aurora, Barangay Paltic is one of 11 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Paltic had a population of 5,754. This made it the 1st largest of 11 barangays in Dingalan by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Paltic accounted for approximately 20.64% of the total population of Dingalan, which stood at 27,878 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Paltic changed from 5,075 to 5,754, a shift of +13.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Dingalan. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Paltic as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Dingalan is a municipality comprising 11 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Paltic, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Aurora, which contains 151 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Paltic ranks 4th by 2020 population. Aurora is classified as a 3rd by the Bureau of Local Government Finance, a category that reflects the province's annual regular income.

The barangay's legislative and executive affairs are handled by a Punong Barangay and the Sangguniang Barangay, elected nationwide during the Barangay and SK Elections.
