Barangay Camambugan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Camambugan is one of the administrative divisions of Dingle in Iloilo, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Camambugan had a population of 1,598. This made it the 15th largest of 33 barangays in Dingle by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Camambugan accounted for approximately 3.48% of the total population of Dingle, which stood at 45,965 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Camambugan moving from 1,541 residents to 1,598 residents, an intercensal change of +3.7%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Camambugan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
