Situated in Dipaculao, Aurora, Barangay Buenavista is one of 25 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Buenavista had a population of 736. This made it the 20th largest of 25 barangays in Dipaculao by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Buenavista accounted for approximately 2.22% of the total population of Dipaculao, which stood at 33,131 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Buenavista changed from 569 to 736, a shift of +29.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Dipaculao.
