Barangay Dilakit

Situated in Divilacan, Isabela, Barangay Dilakit is one of 12 barangays that make up the municipality within Cagayan Valley.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Dilakit had a population of 455. This made it the 4th largest of 12 barangays in Divilacan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dilakit accounted for approximately 7.81% of the total population of Divilacan, which stood at 5,827 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 436 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 455 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +4.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Dilakit as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
