Barangay Agbatuan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Agbatuan is one of the administrative divisions of Dumarao in Capiz, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Agbatuan had a population of 767. This made it the 28th largest of 33 barangays in Dumarao by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Agbatuan accounted for approximately 1.55% of the total population of Dumarao, which stood at 49,506 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Agbatuan moving from 849 residents to 767 residents, an intercensal change of -9.7%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Agbatuan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
