Barangay Gabut

Barangay Gabut forms part of Dupax Del Sur, a municipality in Nueva Vizcaya, and is classified as a small barangay.

This made it the 5th largest of 19 barangays in Dupax Del Sur by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Gabut changed from 1,268 to 1,293, a shift of +2.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with slowly expanding populations in Dupax Del Sur. Barangay Gabut is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Dupax Del Sur is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Gabut, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Nueva Vizcaya, which contains 275 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Gabut ranks 157th by 2020 population.
