Barangay Santa Fe

Barangay Santa Fe forms part of Esperanza, a municipality in Agusan Del Sur, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santa Fe had a population of 2,254. This made it the 5th largest of 47 barangays in Esperanza by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santa Fe accounted for approximately 3.80% of the total population of Esperanza, which stood at 59,353 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Santa Fe moving from 1,990 residents to 2,254 residents, an intercensal change of +13.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
