Barangay Poblacion East

Barangay Poblacion East is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Flora, located in the province of Apayao, in the CAR region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Poblacion East had a population of 2,652. This made it the 1st largest of 16 barangays in Flora by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion East accounted for approximately 14.78% of the total population of Flora, which stood at 17,944 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Poblacion East moving from 2,717 residents to 2,652 residents, an intercensal change of -2.4%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Poblacion East as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
