Barangay Cabangcalan

Barangay Cabangcalan forms part of Floridablanca, a municipality in Pampanga, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Cabangcalan had a population of 2,196. This made it the 29th largest of 33 barangays in Floridablanca by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cabangcalan accounted for approximately 1.62% of the total population of Floridablanca, which stood at 135,542 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,904 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,196 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +15.3%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Cabangcalan is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Floridablanca is a municipality comprising 33 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Cabangcalan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
