Barangay Bacong Ilaya

Barangay Bacong Ilaya is a small barangay in the municipality of General Luna, located in the province of Quezon, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bacong Ilaya had a population of 1,695. This made it the 5th largest of 27 barangays in General Luna by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bacong Ilaya accounted for approximately 6.83% of the total population of General Luna, which stood at 24,804 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Bacong Ilaya changed from 1,709 to 1,695, a shift of -0.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in General Luna.
