Barangay Corte Baud

Situated in Getafe, Bohol, Barangay Corte Baud is one of 24 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Corte Baud had a population of 1,045. This made it the 16th largest of 24 barangays in Getafe by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Corte Baud accounted for approximately 3.13% of the total population of Getafe, which stood at 33,422 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 868 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,045 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +20.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Corte Baud as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Getafe is a municipality comprising 24 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Corte Baud, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Bohol, which contains 1,109 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Corte Baud ranks 491st by 2020 population.
